My name is Andrei Iordache and I’m a Romanian copywriter gone freelance. Back in my agency days, I wrote compelling Romanian copy and developed ATL and BTL campaigns for international brands. These days I’m part of The Collective and I’m doing creative work for big and small corporate clients. And although I’m a Romanian copywriter based in Bucharest, I also write a great deal of English copy.

I started doing transcreations while I was working at my first advertising agency (one of the largest agencies in Romania). Apart of my usual creative duties, I was assigned a steady flow of transcreation projects for various brands. I loved the challenge of breaking cultural barriers and I enjoyed interacting with the voice talents and sound technicians in the studio. And it’s the same today. As a Romanian freelance copywriter, I’m glad to play a part in the success of some great brands that advertise to the Romanian consumer.
